Privacy policy

This page explains what Jinfujeos collects when you use the website or sit in the room, why we collect it, and how you can ask for a copy or a correction. It was written for the clinic as opened in Melbourne in 2026.

Who

Who holds the information

Jinfujeos is the practice that collects and holds personal information for bookings, findings and image storage. You can write to us at Level 4, 118 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000, or email [email protected]. Telephone +61 3 9103 4472.

We handle information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as they apply to a small health-adjacent practice. We do not sell lists and we do not place client images on this website.

What

What we collect

From the booking form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the service you asked for, a preferred date, and whatever you choose to write in the message. If you telephone instead, we take the same details by hand.

In the room we collect a health and product history that you give us, consent to photograph the scalp, trichoscopic images, control-point photographs, the four markers, and the written findings. Payment records show the fee, the deposit and the method. We do not store full card numbers on clinic machines.

The website may set a small cookie preference (accepted or declined) in your browser. Usage of pages may be counted in a first-party log so we know which documents are read. See the cookie notice for that detail.

Why

Why we collect it

We use the booking details to reply and to hold a time. We use the history, images and markers to write your findings, to compare later visits, and to decide whether a program or a referral is the honest next step. We use payment records to reconcile the visit you received with the fee you paid.

If we recommend a GP or dermatologist, we share the images and markers with you so that you can take them onward. We do not send your file to a doctor unless you ask us to, or unless a lawful request requires it.

Storage

Where it is kept, and for how long

Records are stored on encrypted systems hosted in Australia. Enquiry files from this website are held on the same clinic infrastructure. We keep image sets and written findings for seven years from the last visit, which is long enough for a later comparison or a GP request to make sense.

Booking enquiries that do not become a visit are removed after 18 months, unless they sit inside a later record. Cookie preference is stored only in your browser and can be cleared there.

Access

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it. Write to [email protected] and allow ten working days for a first reply. We may need to confirm that the request is yours.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, write to us first. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We will not charge you for a standard access request.

Limits

What this policy does not do

This page is about personal information. It is not a medical disclaimer and it is not a financial product document. The medical limit of the practice is stated on the service pages: we provide cosmetic trichology services, we do not diagnose medical conditions, and we do not prescribe medicines.

Need a copy of your findings?

Email the clinic. We will send the PDF already written for your visit.
